Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a highly sought after option for website owners who know they need to have higher search engine rankings to succeed online.

In fact, entire businesses have been developed just to provide this form of “internet marketing” to those who desperately need it.

Although it is true that SEO is a highly technical, ever changing, sometimes secretive discipline – it is by no means the ONLY thing a website owner should be doing to succeed online.

Some would have you believe that optimizing your website for the search engines will drive hordes of traffic directly to you — however that is simply NOT the case.

Search Engine Optimization accounts for approximately 40% of the overall success of your website, and even less if your website was not originally designed with SEO in mind.

If you currently have an existing website which is graphics intensive then SEO accounts for even less of your success simply because pictures and graphics actually give your website less effectiveness in the search engine results pages.

So, you may be asking – if SEO is 40% or less of my overall website success, what accounts for the remaining 60% or more?

The answer; off page factors such as inbound links make up the remaining effectiveness of your website in the search engine results.

Quick Tip:

Our proprietary internet marketing process takes all factors into consideration when promoting your website, and our inbound link building methods are so effective you can actually rank higher for fewer incoming links than your competition.

Traditional keyword research is dead.

The old way of optimizing web pages with single keywords has changed forever with Google’s advent of “Latent Semantic Indexing” or LSI.

The old way; in the past, webmasters could optimize a webpage by adding a single keyword to the title of the page and using the keyword they want to rank for 8-10 times in the body copy — and years ago they could rank well for that market keyword in the search engines.

These days; Google now analyzes each webpage and compares the overall theme of the webpage to their understanding of what an authority website would say.

Example; In the past, if you wanted to rank in the search engines for the term “The White House” you would simply mention White House many times on the webpage and it was possible to get a search engine ranking for that term. With LSI that simply won’t work any longer.

Google now knows that any authoritative website which mentions “The White House” also mentions terms such as “Pennsylvania Avenue”, “President”, “Bill Clinton”, “Oval Office”, etc.

Of course it makes sense for Google to take a deeper approach to delivering relevant search results to its customers however from a webmaster or website owners point of view it’s much harder to implement such a strategy.

Unless you are an expert on a particular subject, you inevitably will leave out the expert terms and deeper level of knowledge that Google absolutely requires a high ranking web page to have.

So, the point is – when I say “keyword research is dead”, I am speaking of the concept that simply using top level keywords on your website is not enough.

What’s The Solution To Keyword Research?

I like to call it “Market Research” – or rather the level of market research that covers every synonym, every expert phrase, and every statistically improbable phrase available in any given niche.

It’s actually quite possible to garner a huge market share online in ANY market by building out the content on a website which covers the entire wide synomic net of terms mentioned above.

Most websites are optimized for less than 100 keywords yet through our market research abilities we are able to optimize for over 3000 terms across 100 pages of content in almost any market.

One benefit our clients get access to is that we begin each internet marketing plan with what we call a “Website Blueprint” – detailing out those exact 3000+ terms which need to be used to own any given market online.

In the past, it took approximately 90 days to produce such a site blueprint but not anymore. Today, we can produce an entire site blueprint in 24 hours and begin implementation within days.

Web Market Authority is the only provider who can even begin to produce such a website blueprint – while at the same time provide the infrastructure and expertise to use and put in motion such an effective website marketing tool and plan. True website blue prints are being sold for $10,000+ in the market as we speak – which means online market ownership is within the reach of anyone ready to achieve such an endeavor.

In conclusion, if you’re a website owner who is becoming aware that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is not just a service you need, but rather a business partnership – be on the lookout for providers who ask “YOU” to produce a “keyword” list so they can begin optimizing your website with those terms. OR better yet, ask them what terms they’ll use to optimize your website with. If they don’t talk about market research, diverse synonyms, expert verbiage and statistically improbably phrases – your return on investment may be somewhat less than is possible or even desirable.
